In-Store Event: After the End with AH²
About this Event
Join us for the final event celebrating After The End, a dystopian romance collection, with authors Adriana Herrera, Ali Hazelwood, Cate C. Wells, Claire Kent, Nikki Payne and bookstagrammer @yourromancedestinee as moderator. Your ticket purchase includes an exclusive mass-market paperback custom box set of the AFTER THE END collection.
Note on Format: This event is in-store only. Not all authors are comfortable with their face being on the internet so there will not be a hybrid component. We request that attendees do not take photos or videos during the event, and only take pictures at the Ali/ Adriana/ Nikki signing table.
The authors will sign the mass markets beforehand allowing for the personalization of that book and signing/personalizing (with name only) up to three other books/items per author. This is a grand total of up to 4 items per author.

You should receive an email by no later than 5pm EST on Friday, September 4th with a promo code to be applied at checkout on the eventbrite. Unfortunately, if you purchased the books after the campaign, you are not eligible for a code. Ali Hazelwood - Ali is originally from Italy, has lived in Japan and Germany, and eventually moved to the US to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. She was a professor for about three years, but in 2022 she quit to write full time. When she’s not writing you can find her prowling around AO3, binge-watching shows with her three feline overlords (and her almost equally feline husband), crocheting, or eating candy.
Cate C Wells - Cate C. Wells writes messy love with happy endings. Whatever the world, readers can expect character-driven stories that are raw, real, and emotionally satisfying. Cate's into flaws, long roads to redemption, and catharsis, in fiction and in life. As well as books, Cate has collected a husband, two daughters, and a cat along the way. Claire Kent - Claire has been writing romance novels since she was twelve years old. After teaching English at the university level for several years, she started writing full-time under two different pen names. She lives in Virginia. Her current books are steamy post-apocalyptic romance set in the near future after a global catastrophe. @yourromancedestinee - Destinee is an omnivorous reader and avid traveler who some may say began reading historical romance novels too young (they are all clearly wrong). She is passionate about creating community around books and has moderated dozens of author events and hundreds of book clubs at East City Bookshop. Growing up in the British Virgin Islands, books were always her portal to experiencing the wider world and over the last 15 years in Washington, D.C., she has been able to share that passion as a public-school educator, bookseller and event organizer.
