On All Souls Day, we honor those who have gone before us and open space for prayer, remembrance, and healing. A Despacho is a traditional Andean prayer offering, created with intention and love. These sacred bundles may be made in honor of a loved one who has passed or offered for collective healing—such as peace for those suffering, or balance for the Earth.Join me in a ceremony to create your own despacho, weaving prayers, offerings, and blessings into a beautiful bundle that will later be released in fire. Together, we will honor our ancestors, connect more deeply with ourselves, and offer healing to the world.
What to Expect: Learn about the meaning and tradition of despachos. Create a despacho in honor of a loved one or an intention. Add offerings of your choice, either brought from nature or created during the ceremony. Join in a fire ceremony to release your despacho with gratitude.
Option to contribute to a land mandala with natural offerings as a blessing to the National Parks. Please bring: A natural item (flower, leaf, stone, shell, seed, etc.) to add to your despacho and/or the mandala
Giving Back: Part of the proceeds from this event will benefit Lou’s efforts to help preserve and protect our national parks.
I have been walking the path of a shamanic healer for the past two years, and my passion is helping people connect with themselves in a deeper, more authentic way. My hope is that this offering brings you peace and a sense of connection on this sacred day.
