In Plain Sight Presents Legally Blind: The Logistics of Domestic Violence
About this Event
Please join us for the 20th annual In Plain Sight Domestic Violence Conference. This year's theme is Legally Blind: The Logistics of Domestic Violence. Our morning session will consist of a judicial pannel and morning workshops. Our national keynote speaker will kick off our afternoon session, followed by our afternoon workshops. As with previous conferences, the workshops will be presented twice - during the morning session and again in the afternoon session.
A light breakfast and hot lunch will be served. In addition, we will have organizations from around Baltimore County that will be set up in the lobby area to share more information about what they do.

Info: Ms. Allyn and Ms. Reaves will discuss key components of the abuse intervention programming and certification process, explore language, accountability, and intervention approaches in AIP work, review current DV and AIP statistics across the state, explore the differences between behavioral health treatment, anger management, and AIP, and review research on AIP, including recidivism.
