Are you ready to make a real impact in your community?Join Central Illinois Resource Center Inc. for our In-Person Volunteer Forum & Social, an interactive opportunity to learn how you can get involved in strengthening mental health awareness, addressing food insecurity, and supporting individuals experiencing homelessness across the counties we serve.
This event is designed for individuals who are interested in beginning the volunteer process with CIRC and want to better understand our mission, programs, and expectations. Attendees will:
• Meet members of our Board of Directors
• Learn about our Peer-to-Peer Support Line and community initiatives
• Explore volunteer roles and committee opportunities
• Ask questions about onboarding, training, and background requirements
• Connect with like-minded community members in a welcoming, mission-driven environment
This is more than an information session — it’s a space to build relationships, share ideas, and see firsthand how CIRC operates as a community-centered nonprofit organization.
Whether you’re looking to volunteer at events, assist with outreach, serve on a committee, or support behind-the-scenes operations, this forum is your first step toward meaningful involvement.
We believe community change starts with people who are willing to show up. If that sounds like you, we look forward to meeting you.
