Tarot & Astrology for Grief looks to provide two things:
● Instruction and examples of how these tools can support you on your grief journey
● Facilitated practice with these tools and techniques (please bring a tarot deck and/or your
phone/laptop!)
While tarot and astrology are often used to address present and future events, they can also be
used to look back at moments of loss to help provide meaning and validation.
What this class is:
● A general introduction to using tarot and astrology for grief and loss
● An overview of several common practices to support you on your grief journey
● A time to practice what you’ve learned and ask questions
What this class is not:
● A facilitated grief circle or sharing-focused gathering
● An in-depth or step-by-step guide for navigating your personal grief journey
● An introduction to tarot or astrology – some prior experience or familiarity is encouraged
This class draws directly from Reese Quinn’s personal experience using tarot and astrology to
navigate deep moments of grief, as well as their support of clients on grief journeys through
numerous tarot and astrology readings.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Reese Quinn (she/they) is a tarot and astrology reader and what they lovingly call a practical witch. They have a strong awareness of the crossroads between astrology, cartomancy, and elemental practices. You’ll note that Reese embraces their queer, intersectional identities when both teaching and reading.
Reese has been a reader at Ritualcravt for over two years and has studied with well-known witches like Lindsay Mack and Pam Grossman and well-respected teachers locally in Denver. In 2021-2022, they completed an apprenticeship with best-selling author and reader of 20+ years, Stefanie Caponi. Their writing is available via the Moon Void Tarot website and they have additional works forthcoming.
