Join essayist Kevin Faulkner as he explores Sir Thomas Browne's multi-faceted interest in the world of ancient Rome. With a visual show of books once in Browne's library as well as Roman coins collected by the Norwich doctor-philosopher, Kevin will outline why he believes Browne to have been 17th century England's greatest authority on the Romans and their world.

This free talk will take place in person in the Heritage Centre Meeting Room, Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library, and will also be livestreamed.
