Let us come together in community to open, release, expand, and attune to a higher field of awareness and empowerment.
WHAT IS KAP?
Kundalini Activation Practice (KAP) is a profound form of energy work which has the potential to induce transcendent states of awareness, as well as facilitate deep personal healing.
It is a lineage-based initiation onto a path of spiritual growth through Kundalini activity, the process of energetic bio-spiritual transformation in the human body that leads to spiritual development and evolution.
This practice begins to clear away what you are not and reminds you of who you truly are so that you feel more at home within yourself.
While this practice is considered a spiritual practice, lots of participants attend to simply reset, recharge, and rest in a nourishing and loving energy field. This practice is excellent for shifting heavy emotions, regulating the nervous system, and recharging when you are feeling run down.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A KAP SESSION?
You lie down on a yoga mat. Heathir will play pre-recorded music in a variety of tones and tempos to create a container for the session. As you lay on your mat an ambiant field of energy known as prana shakti will be amplified and transmitted.
At times Heathir may (with your consent) gently make contact with or directs energy toward some of the chakra or meridian points on your body. This energy field that is being transmitted acts like a tuning fork, and your own intelliegent energy resonates with this field and begins to move and activate within you.
This is a truely unique surrender based practice where you simply allow your intelligent life force energy to move through you by saying "yes" to whatever arises within.
With any sensation, physical or emotional, you always have the choice to lean into it and surrender, or hold back. You are fully in charge the entire time, and if you wish to stop the practice, you simply sit up, open your eyes, and it will stop.
All expressions of a Kundalini Awakening can occur during the process. Spontaneous movements often arise accompanied by the sensation of energy moving through the body. Some reflect that it can be a cathartic experience providing deep insights and realizations while others may report arriving at bliss states or expanded levels of consciousness.
With continued exposure, a profound rewiring of the brain structure and central nervous system occurs supporting deeper integration of the energy in your daily life.
You may experience moments of stillness and introspection. Sometimes visualizations will occur similar to dreaming or journeying.
There can be emotional movements from the ones we all love, from bliss and pleasure to the less desirable (but still sacred), anger or grief. You might also feel the urge for singing, humming, laughing, yawning, or even letting out a scream.
During a session, every βsymptomβ or sign of a kundalini awakening, from the earliest signs of subtle energy flow to the later end manifestations of embodied, non-dual states of being, are regularly observed in participants.
Participants may also have a more subtle experience on the mat and then notice positive shifts, emotional release, and insights in the days to follow.
AFTER EFFECTS
You may feel the energy for the next few days. The movements that got started in class can continue. Pay attention to any changes and give yourself ample kindess and space as you process whatever arises from your practice.
You may become more sensitive and feel more connected to your inner being. Many people report experiencing clarity and insights, and self awarenesses that lead to positive change.
Itβs important in the following days to be aware of your energy levels and to listen to what your body is asking of you. For example, you may need more rest, or crave different foods, dreams can differ, or sleep can become deeper. The after effects vary amongst individuals.
Over time, opening of the kundalini field removes internal obstacles to greater spiritual awareness. The positive impact affects your material life and facilitates the attainment of higher states of consciousness with continual practice.
PREPARATION
The less you have in your energy field the more you potent the experience will be. Because of this it is highly suggested that you refrain from consuming alcohol, meat, and other heavy foods prior to the session. Eat only lightly or not at all 2 hours before the session.
For the most potent experience it is important that you avoid plant medicines, and other kinds of altering substances including alcohol for at least 24 hours before the session.
Please wear comfortable clothing! Bring your own yoga mat, There are no pre-requisites and anyone who feels called to attend is welcome.

While KAP is safe and helps facilitate a natural process of energetic development, it is not an appropriate modality for those who experience mania, paranoia, delusion, or psychosis. Mixing plant medicines and other psycho-active substances with KAP is not recommended, and can lead to unecessarly difficult experiences of intensity. When KAP is practiced as designed, with a sober body and mind, it is a very gentle, gradual and well-integrated path towards greater self awareness and possible Self realization.
