In Person: Empowerment Kits with Foster Success
About this Event
Who this In Person Event is for:
Ages 2-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling.
What you’ll be doing: We invite families to join us for a meaningful event as we partner with Foster Success to explore the strength it takes to transition from childhood towards self-sufficiency, and the additional barriers faced by youth with experiences in foster care. Then, we will use our helping hands to assemble care kits to encourage and empower youth on their journey from foster care to self-sufficiency.
Specific instructions:
All supplies will be provided. Optionally, families are invited to bring items from Foster Success’ online wishlist.
Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:
On the next page, you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.
Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email [email protected] and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
