In-person Cyber Safety Session for Small Businesses - Oxford
Learn how to protect your business from cyber crime with practical advice and real-world guidance from cyber security specialists.
Delivered by cybercrime experts from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU), working alongside the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley (OPCC), this free session will provide practical tips to keep your business safe online.
During the workshop, attendees will explore real-life scenarios, learn about common cyber threats such as phishing, account compromise and data breaches, and receive practical tools and guidance to help strengthen online security, protect customer data and reduce the risk of financial or operational disruption.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or device to take part in the interactive elements.
The workshop will take place in St Aldates Room in Oxford Town Hall from 8am-10am on Monday 9 March. Tea, coffee and pastries will be available on arrival. Session to start at 8.30am.
Attendees will need to access the Town Hall via the North Entrance (by Black Sheep coffee shop) as the main entrance will be locked until 9am.
This event is open to small business in Oxford and the surrounding area. Spaces are limited, and registration is required.
