In-Person Class: Thanksgiving Turkey Cake Decorating (NYC)

Join Chef Milagros for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll transform a delicious cinnamon cake with pumpkin buttercream into an adorable Thanksgiving turkey using colorful buttercream and fun piping techniques. You’ll learn how to create beautiful buttercream feathers, add dimension with layered ruffles, and bring your turkey to life with its own personality.

What You’ll Make:

Each guest will decorate their own individual cinnamon cake with pumpkin buttercream, transforming it into a festive Thanksgiving turkey. Chef Milagros will guide you through working with buttercream, using a large petal piping tip, creating layered ruffles, blending colors, and adding the final turkey face and decorative details.

Your finished turkey cake makes a fun and festive Thanksgiving centerpiece, and you’ll leave with practical buttercream decorating techniques you can recreate at home for holidays, birthdays, celebrations, or just because!

No experience necessary!

Whether you’re looking for a fun Thanksgiving outing with friends, planning a unique date night, or simply want to try your hand at cake decorating, this class is all about creativity, hands-on learning, and having fun with buttercream. Your cake will be baked, filled, shaped, and ready to decorate when you arrive. All ingredients, tools, and equipment are provided.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.

You will be seated with your booking party. Each guest will decorate their own individual mini cake while sharing select ingredients and equipment with others at the table. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside beverages are not permitted. Classes are intended for guests 18+.

Guest requirement:

The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Groups of 2 may be asked to share their station with another couple. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in so that class can begin on time. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. Classes are intended for 18+.
