In-Person Class: Steamed Bao Buns (DC)

Discover how to make soft, pillowy Bao Buns completely from scratch in this fun and hands-on class with Chef Michelle.

You’ll choose between traditional pork or vegetarian tofu fillings and follow along as Chef Michelle guides you through making and proofing the dough, preparing your filling of choice, and crafting a flavorful dipping sauce from scratch.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as enjoyable for cooking enthusiasts who want to be involved in every step as it is for first-timers who prefer to observe and assist (or just taste-test).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party, and guests in the same party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price but will be available for sale at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+

Groups of 2 may be asked to share their station with another couple. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in so that class can begin on time.
