In person Class: Handmade Bao Buns (Orange County)

Learn the art of making soft, pillowy mini Bao Buns completely from scratch! Easily steamed, they are even more fun to fill with your ingredients. You will learn to make a Char Siu-Style Beef where you gain insight on how to properly marinate and cook the beef as well as a vegetable option (featuring tofu and pickled vegetables) Follow the process of making the dough and allowing it to prove while you make your filling of choice. This class is the best of both worlds as you will get to practice working with dough as well as sharpening your cooking and knife skills. You'll be making Bao Buns at home in no time!No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are not included in the ticket price.
