In Person: Care Kits for Children Receiving Grief Support Services

Who this In Person Event is for:

Ages 6-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Due to the nature of this event, we ask that children and siblings outside this age group do not attend.

What you’ll be doing:

In honor of Children's Grief Awareness Month, we invite families to join us for a meaningful event as we partner with OhioHealth Hospice and Bereavement Services. We will explore what it means to lose a loved one through an age-appropriate children’s book and group discussion. Then, we will use our helping hands to assemble care kits and art to bring comfort to children and teens who have recently lost a loved one and are receiving grief support services from OhioHealth Bereavement Services.

All supplies will be provided.

Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:

On the next page, you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.

Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
