CUYAHOGA COUNTY SWORN DISPATCH PERSONNEL ONLY

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is offering in person Dispatcher Training on December 1, 2025 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Information will be provided to Dispatchers in Cuyahoga County on engaging and communicating with people in crisis. Also, updated information on the #988 system.

As part of the ADAMHS Board's initiative to expand Dispatcher training in the county, each department will receive reimbursement in the amount of $75 per dispatcher to help remove financial barriers to training. Upon completion of the training, dispatchers will receive a certificate of attendance.

The training will cover: Overview of the new Cuyahoga County Diversion Center, how to address challenges associated with triaging emergency calls for service, law enforcement response versus a behavioral health response, and community resources available for those in crisis in Cuyahoga County.
