A celebration of the life of John Ruebartsch will be held on January 4th, 2025. John passed away on Saturday November 9th. He was in hospice care at Columbia Saint Mary’s, where many of his friends had the opportunity to express their love and appreciation for him before he passed. All are welcome to bring your remembrances of John to share at this memorial event.
Those of you who knew John, knew that he was a very talented photographer. Many of his photographs will be on display at this afternoon event. Most will be for sale. All proceeds will go to benefit the Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts. John was a past president of the Riverwest Artists Association (now Jazz Gallery Center for the Arts) where he spearheaded the effort to get nonprofit status for that organization. He was proud of his contributions to this organization.
He will be missed by many whose lives he touched with his work, his friendship, and his kind spirit.
