Many of you (especially the residents of Leigh Park and surrounding canine community), will remember the recent and tragic loss of Dixie. DIXIES STORY
Dixie was out on a walk on the evening of 22/11/24 with a local dog walker when she disappeared, despite the efforts of all who helped look for her, she was fatally hit by a car on the A3 the following evening. She was just 2 years old.
Portsmouth Bull Terrier walks are an ever growing group of dedicated dog owners who meet up regularly and walk their dogs together to raise money for dogs in rescue.
We welcome all breeds of dogs large and small.
Each dog joins the walk for a cost of £2 per dog.
All dogs receive free homemade treats for taking part.
All dogs will also be given a memory ribbon to attach to their collar or harness to wear on the walk with Dixie’s name on.
There is also a raffle after the walk with lots of prizes up for grabs.
All money raised on the day will be donated to Arundawn Dog Rescue who work tirelessly to save dogs lives and find them loving homes.
