The Soul Center presents Melanie Goldberg Silver, one of those strong Jewish women who has gifted us an invaluable tool in accomplishing this great task. Melanie just published Bedtime Stories for Strong Jewish Girls, a beautifully crafted book which tells the tales of 50 Jewish heroines—scholars, spies, scientists, artists, athletes, leaders, and dreamers—who dared to ask questions, stand tall, and light the way for generations to come.
In conversation with our Soul-Scholar-in-Residence, Ora Weinbach, Melanie will share what motivated her to write this book, reflect on the urgent importance of instilling Jewish joy and pride in our youngest generation, and show us how – throughout herstory – Jewish girls grew into Jewish women who changed the world.
