The Mysteries of Money: Why everything you think you know about government spending, debt and taxes is wrong
About this Event

Emeritus Professor at the University of Sheffield, founder of the Tax Justice Network and advocate of Modern Monetary Theory, Richard Murphy will debunk common myths about money, government spending, debt and taxes. He'll talk about why austerity is unnecessary, inequality is a political choice and why the UK economy doesn't work for most people and he'll explain how the power relationships that alter the allocation of resources in our society are created, how they can be changed and how we can create a better world. Come along and have all your questions about money and the economy answered
