For one night and one night only... join us in conversation with local author Delphine Seddon to discuss her fiercly feminist debut novel, Darkening Song, with Welsh filmmaker of One Wave Films, Nan Davies.
Darkening Song follows the story of two young women; a recording artist failed by the industry which made her an idol, and her ambitious manager, forced to make an impossible choice between friendship and power. It explores themes of close female friendships, mental health, how power mutates people, and learning to break free from past traumas.
Excitingly, Darkening Song has been optioned to be adapted into a major TV series. With 20 years in the music business, author, Delphine Seddon, depicts a life of stardom in a dark and haunting way.
