Join us for a fireside chat with Ash Shrivastav, General Partner of Uma Ventures, hosted by E-Lab co-founder Kamiar Mohaddes. Ash will share his perspective on early-stage investing and building at the intersection of AI, deep tech and defence, drawing on his experience backing companies including Anthropic and Perplexity.

Speaker Bio:

Ash Shrivastav is General Partner of Uma Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco. He previously spent over six years as a Principal at Buckhill Capital, sourcing and leading investments in companies including Anthropic, Perplexity, Worldly and Goodr. Ash began his career in investment banking at JPMorgan, later working on sell-side transactions at boutique firms before founding a leading social matrimony platform. He attended the MBA programme at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and holds a master's degree in information systems management from Harvard University.
