Co-sponsored by The Library Foundation & Texas Book Festival, In Conversation pairs writers for intimate, unmoderated discussions of their work. May Cobb () and Gabino Iglesias () each tell gripping stories of deception, danger, and suspense in their 2024 novels.
May Cobb earned her MA in literature from San Francisco State University, and her essays and interviews have appeared in The Washington Post, the Rumpus, Edible Austin, and Austin Monthly. Her previous novels are The Hunting Wives and My Summer Darlings. A Texas native, she lives in Austin with her family. Her novel The Hunting Wives is soon to be a series on STARZ. Her latest book is The Hollywood Assistant.
Gabino Iglesias is a writer, journalist, professor, and literary critic living in Austin. He is the author of Zero Saints, Coyote Songs, and The Devil Takes You Home.
