Course Description: This course introduces Brokers to actual contract issues that must be addressed. Students will learn how to assess an issue from the various perspectives of a Buyer, Seller, cooperating Broker and cross reference the issue with the contract under which the parties are Binding and Georgia License Law.

Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, Brokers will be able to

(1) understand the need for gathering as much information from BOTH Buyers & Sellers prior to deciding earnest money issues or advising their agent;

(2) properly interpret the terms of the contract under which the parties are bound;

(3) be able to articulate their course of action, advice to agents or disbursement of Earnest Money based on appropriate contract interpretation and reference to Georgia License Law

(4) realize that the duties and responsibilities of having a Broker’s License especially when acting as a Qualifying or Managing Broker may become extremely complicated and require diligent research and communication and thought in order to protect the Brokerage, our agents & the public whom we serve..
