An all-day event to celebrate local music, put together by NIghtshift magazine, All Will Be Well Records, and promoter Gappy Tooth Industries.In A Different Place 2023 was an amazing affair, featuring Mandrake Handshake, The August List, The Deadbeat Apostles, and twelve more of the county's greatest live acts over two stages in the Bully. The event returns this year, with a headline set from Pecq, in their only Oxford show of 2024. Their sound is part organic, part electronic, and always intriguing. The duo is the force behind Upcycled Sounds, were present at the birth of Remorae (FKA Folkatron Sessions), and feature the touring synth-twiddler for both Arlo parks and Barry Can't Swim.
