About this Event
The Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital will be our venue for a knowledge exchange on Tuesday 8th September as we bring together Medic*tion safety specialists and other stakeholders from our network to discuss innovations that make patients safer.
A central feature of the event will be the introduction and practical exploration of the framework, presented by Jennifer Hade (Tallaght University Hospital) and Jayne Tuthill (Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin Jennifer and Jane will demonstrate how the Building Blocks can be embedded into Irish Hospital Pharmacies. With Dr. Callanan’s guidance, participants will translate these ideas into actionable improvement plans specific to their service environments.
The ever popular “pearls” presentations will be back this year, but with a twist! Five presentations will be chosen celebrating innovation in Medic*tion safety which can be replicated in other locations. A panel of experts will then choose the most impactful to bring forward to the All-Island Conference in Belfast in November. If you have an abstract you would like to submit, please complete the Google form at this link Leading authors on each pearl will automatically be registered on eventbrite.
