DCU Institute for Climate and Society Presents: "Forever is Now"

The DCU Institute for Climate and Society invites you to a special public screening of Forever Is Now, a documentary by director Neasa Ní Chianán, which follows former Green Party leader and Minister Eamon Ryan over his last 18 months in government as he advocates for climate action in UN and European venues, while facing pushback and social media abuse at home.
It also shows his relationship with his severely autistic son Tommy, a human counterpoint to the technicalities of climate negotiations abroad. The film foregrounds the challenges of communicating the climate and biodiversity crises to different audiences.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Eamon Ryan, Neasa Ní Chianán, and Eamon's two former advisers, Edel Hackett and Darcy Lonergan. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
