About this Event
Before you have a baby, many would think that by the time they reach their first birthday, surely they should be sleeping through the night, and naps and bedtime will no longer fill you with dread. However, if you are reading this and you wish this was the case, you are in the right place. It is more common that people think for children to be starting school, or moving through primary school and having challenges with sleep.
Help is out there. My online seminar is a safe safe, with no judgment for you to find out more about your childs sleep, what to expect and how to support better sleep. Common sleep challenges at this age are resisting bedtime or a long time settling, multiple night wakes, needing someone with them when they fall asleep and bed sharing (when it isn't working for you.)
The 90-120 minute seminar (via zoom) will focus on:
• The importance of sleep.
• How much sleep should you, and your child should be getting.
• How can you structure your child’s sleep in a way that works for their age.
• Top tips for getting your child to get better quality, longer and more restful sleep.
• How to implement a great routine.
• Practical steps to take if your little ones sleep is difficult at the moment, without resorting to the “cry it out” method.
Parents and carers will also have the opportunity to ask any sleep related questions as part of the session.
Lucy Murray is a certified baby and child sleep consultant with Little Dreams Sleep Consultancy and owner of Little Dreams Chelmsford and Colchester. She is also a certified member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants (APSC). She supports families with children aged 4 months to 10 years to improve their sleep and help the whole family feel more rested using evidence based approaches, that do not use “the cry it out method”. With three children of her own, she truly understands how hard it can be to have a tricky sleeper and the importance of seeking help when you need it. Lucy has a reputation of being calm and approachable and always strives to make families feel at ease and in control of their own parenting approach.
The seminar will provide a broad understanding of children's sleep and practical steps on how to improve it. If you feel you need more support, or would like to find out more about how Lucy supports families on a 1:1 basis, visit the website below:

The seminar will be a minimum of 90 minutes and a maximum of 2 hours depending on questions asked. The group size is kept small to enable everyone to have a chance to ask questions.
Those attending can choose to have their camera on or off and an information sheet is provided afterwards.
