Improv Workshops at The Hive
About this Event
Our workshops are a great opportunity to learn about and practice improv, and to explore yourself as an artist. We'll use discussions, exercises and scenework to play with this wonderful artform of improv theatre.
...
These workshops are for all experience levels. If you've never tried improv, this is your chance to dip a toe (or cannonball). If you're a seasoned pro, you know how fun and helpful it is to meet new players and groups with different styles. With many decades of performing and teaching experience between them (and within some alone) the Friendly Heretics are eager to lead you and learn with you.
We're jazzed about the growing improv community in Guelph. It's full of inspired folks supporting each other to explore their creativity. Come out and join in!
...
We happily lead the workshops for free because of how important this kind of art is for individuals and the community as a whole. If you want to support our company and help us to rent spaces to host classes and shows we welcome you to pay what you want in person. We always appreciate the support. You are welcome regardless!
