Improv Playtime at Brighton Playhouse
About this Event
Joy, rage, excitement, jealousy, pride, despair, melancholy, love.
Improv is fun when we see big emotional reactions.
Improv draws us in when we get to follow the fun wherever it takes us.
What's in store?
In this Improv Playtime session, we will explore the joys of playing with every emotion through improvisation. We will take risks and test the limits of improvisation on a shared longform journey.
New to longform?
We'll make sure you know what you're doing, and we'll all make you look fabulous. That's just what improvisers do.
What will you take away from the session?
Come and enjoy a delightful improv playtime session on a Sunday afternoon.
Leave with that wonderful feeling of freedom and start your week knowing anything is possible.
This is Open Space
This is an open space session, meaning you are free to participate in as much or as little as you like, at any given moment.
This session is aimed at players who have improvised before - all players are welcome.
Who will lead the session?
This Improv Playtime session is facilitated by Bex Roberts, the producer and founder of Brighton Playhouse and the UK Improv Society. She has trained with the best improvisers in the UK and internationally, including AndAlso/The Maydays, Showstoppers, David Elms and Remy Bertrand.
Bex believes improv frees and empowers human beings in a way that nothing else can.
