Improv Night Out — A Free Hour of Improv, Then Drinks at Red’s Table Reston

An hour of improv. An hour of good company. Zero dollars.
Join us at Brown’s Chapel — yes, it was a chapel, back in the 1880s; today it’s a Reston Association community hall with tall ceilings, great acoustics, and no sermons — for a free, fast, ridiculously fun hour of improv, where scenes come from your honest reactions instead of clever planning. Beginners jump right in; experienced improvisers get a feel for a genuinely different way of working.
Then at 8, we move the fun a short drive away to Red’s Table in South Lakes for drinks, food, and the kind of conversation that happens after an hour of playing make-believe with strangers. Come for the improv, stay for the people.

These free nights are your introduction to Improv on Impulse, our 8-week course at Brown’s Chapel — Thursdays 7–9 pm starting September 24, presented jointly by Next Level Improv and Bethesda Improv Theater. $400, enrollment limited to 16.
About the instructor
Gary Jacobs is the founding artistic director of both the 31-year-old Precipice Improv Theater and Bethesda Improv Theater, and has been teaching and directing improv for over 40 years.
