About: Closing Night is a long-form improvised musical. We perform a two-act musical all completely improvised.
Rehearsal- We rehearse 2 to 3 times a month.
Cost- While we do not pay the show director, we do pay our accompanist for all rehearsals and shows. We just ask that cast members contribute as they can, but Bridge 9 always ensures the accompanist is paid.
Requirements- None! If you are interested we want to see you. Whether a singer or not. We will be doing a few music exercises and then working scenes and songs as a group.
Casting- We are looking to add 4 to 5 folks to our cast. While that is small for the moment- this is a great chance for our director to get to know folks and can lead to casting in other improv shows. Our goal is to add grow our music improv program over the coming years, but we wanted to be upfront about our openings for this team. Bridge 9 Theater functions with a collective of improvisers so this is a great way to be seen and become a part of Bridge 9!
