Improv for 8-13 year olds

About our curriculum

Improv is play that is structured to teach collaboration and agreement. This class will introduce the idea of "Yes And" while playing games and learning to make spontaneous scenes. Improv is fun and helps kids learn to get along, build on ideas, and discover their own strengths!

All youth and teen classes at The Lab are lead by experienced comedians and theater educators with a passion for comedy. Our curriculum is designed to teach both new and experienced students the principles of improvisation and collaboration.

Who can join?

Each session builds upon the other so both new and returning students will build skills and confidence in this class.

Class Schedule

This is a four week class on Tuesdays 4/22- 5/27. Classes will be 5:15-6:30pm. There will be an optional end of class show scheduled during the session.
