Jump on stage without a plan... and feel great about it! Join us for a free drop-in improv class and interest meeting. Led by Marisa Caruso, locals excited about developing comedy and public speaking skills in a low-pressure, fun social environment are welcome to gather for improv games, acting exercises, and a meet & greet with the instructor and fellow interested participants. This event is meant to gauge interest in establishing a more consistent improv comedy class at the Oneonta Foothills in 2026.

In the ongoing class series we'll explore the golden rule of improv, "Yes, And-", listening, group mind and partner support, physical theater, fun games and exercises for scene development and performance- but most importantly learning to get comfortable with the blank slate and spontaneity! These skills directly support public speaking, leadership, group dynamics, maintaining a sense of play, and of course comedy and acting.
