Improv Charlotte Benefiting Psychology for All

100% of the profits from this show will go to Psychology for All. Psychology For All (PFA) is a Charlotte based nonprofit organization committed to improving the emotional well-being of financially disadvantaged adults living in the greater Charlotte-Mecklenburg area who are unable to access the psychotherapeutic services they need. PFA matches applicants who are uninsured and who satisfy low-income eligibility guidelines with an experienced clinician from a diverse group of local licensed psychological service providers. Each participating clinician has committed to provide up to 8 counseling sessions to individuals identified by PFA for a discounted fee. PFA pays the discounted fee to the participating clinician for up to 8 sessions per client. A majority of clients matched by PFA are from racial, ethnic and/or gender minorities who suffer from poor mental health outcomes due to multiple factors, including inaccessibility of quality mental health care services, cultural stigma surrounding mental health care, discrimination and overall lack of awareness about mental health.

When we started this troupe in 2006, it became our mission to serve this city we love – through an art form we love. We have been privileged to donate thousands of dollars to various charities, local and global. We may be the ones performing but it's YOUR money that is making a difference in people's lives!
