Six Week Course | Adults Only (18+)

Leela believes improvisors are artists and must train as such. This class provides you with a 6-week crash course on craft. Focusing on the main building blocks of scenework, you will learn to rely on your senses (rather than "thinking") to create detailed space object environments, specific and interesting characters, and skills to develop believable scenes onstage. Armed with these tools, you’ll step into the role of Improvisor with heightened awareness and confidence.
Prerequisite: Improv 2: Authentic Relationships or instructor approval.
Day/Time: Sundays, from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

***Located only a few blocks from the Powell MUNI/BART station.***
Class Instructions: Please arrive at the main entrance of 450 Geary Street by 5:55 PM. Your instructor will meet you at the door and escort you to the classroom located on the second floor.
