IMPROMPTU is a monthly music and cocktail focused night in an intimate setting of the recently re-imagined Kitsch Bar in Costa Mesa.

Expect sounds for those with a predilection for deep, spacey, movement-inducing deep-tech, classic house, minimal, acid, dub-techno, deep disco, electronica and more with resident DJs HDL, Phonolis, Anderson M, and monthly special guests.

This month we welcome Los Angeles based DJ, Vinyl Label Owner, and Producer BORBI

Augusto Cerdeira, better known as Borbi, is originally from Brazil and currently based in greater Los Angeles. Being an electronic music enthusiast for years, Borbi decided to switch gears from the dance floor to the booth in 2013. He has been crafting his mixing and musical knowledge ever since. Borbi has come a long way and recently played at several outdoor gatherings including DeepAura, Elements of Life, YOUtopia and Burning Man as well as vinyl heavy Los Angeles and Miami based Sunday Sessions. He can adapt to any DJ set depending on the environment and time of day. Borbi is currently working on improving his production skills and he is also the co-founder of Like.Minded - a Southern California based collective and record label aimed at unifying individuals who share the love for underground house and techno music/culture.

Resident support by our newest addition: PHONOLIS!

Phonolis is an Orange County based dj and producer with a storied resume of undergrounds, regional events, festivals, and gatherings through the US. He's come into his own as a precision focused techno producer who has an expansive range and creative techniques. Likewise his dj sets are thoughtful and reflective of his production style. His latest project Liquid Techno will give you a good idea that early arrival is recommended :)

This party gets going EARLY and as a reward, Happy Hour before 9PM and free with RSVP before 10PM.
Music starts by 9PM and Kitsch opens at 6PM.
