Impermanence: An Album Teaser & Fundraiser Sing-Along
Advertisement
An intimate gathering to support Sarah Bentley's forthcoming debut album. Part community concert, part grief ritual, part sing-along.
You're invited to an intimate community house concert, sing-along — a first listen, a first sing, a circle before the record is finished.
This year I've been recording my debut album, Impermanence, a tribute to my father Jerry Sires, who first sang to me before I knew what to do with my voice. On August 22, I want to share pieces of it with you — not as a performance, but the way we've always done it: together, in circle, voices braided.
We'll sing songs from the album and share stories of their origins.
Accompanied by Gregory Alexander, musical director for the album.
📍 A private home in East Austin, address shared upon RSVP
🗓️ Thursday, August 22, 5-6:30pm
👥 Space for 30 — RSVP to hold your spot
This gathering is offered on a sliding scale with a suggested donation of $20–35. $50+ if you're able and want to help carry this album home.
Please bring a bottle of water, and perhaps an item for the altar.
