Immigration & Human Rights
About this Event
The narrative on immigrants and refugees has been hijacked with a concerted attack on all fronts mainly against refugees, most of whom are also people of color.
Immigrants, in fact, contribute to the well-being of our economies, communities and the arts, they deeply love this country and the opportunities it has provided, and they embody the very best of a multi-ethnic society that has served as a model for countries and communities.
Our August speaker works with refugees and immigrants as well as professional and cultural exchanges. She will discuss federal policies in the field of legal, administrative, health, education and other arenas that are a detriment to families, both documented and undocumented.
