Join us for an immersive cultural experience celebrating the richness and depth of Afro-Brazilian heritage. This event invites participants to explore the powerful traditions surrounding the Orixás—ancestral deities that embody nature, spirit, and human emotion.Through Afro-Brazilian dance, led by Fabiana Grimaldi, we will connect movement with meaning, expressing the stories and energies of the Orixás in a dynamic and embodied way. A hands-on music workshop with Mestre Val will introduce participants to traditional rhythms, instruments, and the communal spirit that defines Afro-Brazilian sound.
We are honored to welcome Bàbálòrisá Togun Ofaderan for an open conversation, where he will share his knowledge and lived experience working within the terreiro, offering insight into Afro-Brazilian spirituality and community traditions.
In addition, we will host a welcoming space for dialogue, reflection, and shared learning around Afro-Brazilian culture and its global influence.
Whether you are new to these traditions or already connected to them, this gathering offers an open environment to learn, move, listen, and engage.
