Jacques will start the conference with an introduction to VR and how this technology can revolutionize education. What are the key factors that enhance engagement and memory retention include presence, embodiment, and emotion. Jacques is a French expert in computer graphics, having embarked on his journey in the field in 1990. Over the years, he has amassed a wealth of experience, working as a 3D artist, application engineer, technical director, 3D director, and co-owner of a production company. His career took a pivotal turn towards education when he established the 3D school at the Chamber of Commerce in Angoulême.
In 2007, Jacques moved to Singapore, drawn by the challenge of developing the 3D animation industry in collaboration with Nanyang Polytechnic. His expertise has since expanded to include Real-Time software and Virtual Reality (VR), where he has successfully supervised internal and client projects.
