Have the hopes and dreams that we planted at Yule withered in the frosts or have we nurtured them? Imbolc (pronounced IM-bolg or IM-bolk) is Old Irish for “in the belly.” It’s also known as Oimelc, Lady Day, and, in Christianity, Candlemas or St. Brigid’s Day. Traditionally, Imbolc represents the beginning of spring and the time when the first lambs are born. It’s the time of the year associated with pregnancy, and is the time to honor the fertility goddess Brigid. Tonight Ash the Silent will lead us in learning about Imbolc and planning our Ritual for Saturday.Please bring healthy snacks to share .
Door opens at 7pm, come to socialize before we start the meeting at 7:30.
Love offerings accepted, we provide coffee and tea.
We always have a basket to collect non perishable food for @https://www.lifenet4families.org/ . You are welcome to donate.
We also collect small used or unused blankets, towels and dog toys for the strays at Broward County Animal care.
