About this Event
THE FLOW OF THE EVENT
We will learn the history and folklore behind Imbolc, as we honor this time in the annual cycle of nature as the belly of the earth begins to gestate.
This period marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It is a time of life re-awakening and celebrating the hope for the year ahead.
The ceremony will begin with tea and meditation, after time for journaling and sharing we will move into crafting and storytelling. We will be preparing corn husk dolls and Brigid's crosses as we learn about the Goddess Brigid and dedicate this ancient tradition to her.
I will be sharing herbal snacks from my medicine cabinet like electuaries, oxymel, infused local butter, bannocks, dandelion root cookies and berry crumble bars. It will make for a delicious morning into the afternoon!
By celebrating Imbolc, we honor the gestation within us, acknowledging vitality is on it's return. This gathering provides a powerful opportunity for inner transformation and heart healing, inviting us to embrace change, reflect on our journeys, and gather in community
