About RemiJin Camping
RemiJin Camping was born in Metro Manila, Philippines. She currently lives in Pembroke Pines, Florida and works as an Assistant Professor of Photography at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Camping received her Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Barry University in 2021. Camping’s artwork thoughtfully creates photo-based artwork that explores themes of memory, emotions, and stories narrated through photographs of objects and locations. Sometimes the pieces are based on her own story, be it a happy or sad experience, and other times they are another person’s story that she has connected with and has been moved to tell.
