WE ARE AT THE MAIN LOCATION DOWNTOWN FRANKFORT FOR 2026!!! (Again) We are taking over the patio party peoples and are going to be right in the heart of the action. SAME AS 2025!!! WE WILL NOT BE AT THE TAPROOM!!! The food truck will not be at the Taproom, and Stormcloud doesn't want a bunch of half nekkid, HANGRY triathletes hanging around the Taproom, sooooo....
Hide yo wife, hide yo kids! IT'S BACK!!! Come one come all to the unofficially official IM Michigan 70.3 UPR. Bring some cash, your credit cards, Venmo or make a donation online, because we're super excited about our partner non-profit @Friends of the Betsie Valley Trail (which is part of the run course on Sunday) and our host location Stormcloud. (BUY BEER!!! BUY STORMCLOUD SWAG!!! Thank them for letting a bunch of half nekkid triathletes take over their business for a night!) The run course is under 2 miles, and the event is intended to be a fun, BODY POSITIVE (family friendly-ish), shake out run...we want to see your itsy, bitsy, teeny weenie bikinis, plum smugglers and banana hammocks, but if you're not comfortable in that, wear what makes you comfortable! This will be our 6th year here in Frankfort and of course we intend to continue to raise money for a good cause while running around in our skivvies. If you haven't ever attended a UPR, it's a fun way to shake out those nerves before the race and meet other FUN athletes and make friends!
The UPR is hosted by the Ann Arbor Triathlon Club in conjunction with Stormcloud Brewery, and is not an official Ironman event (but it should be).
