National Small Business Week (NSBW) is an annual event organized by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to recognize and celebrate the contributions of small businesses and entrepreneurs across the country.
Key Highlights of National Small Business Week in Lorain County:
📅 When: Typically held in the first week of May each year.
🏆 Purpose: Honors small businesses' impact on the economy and their role in job creation.
🎤 Events & Workshops: Includes networking events, training sessions, and educational workshops for business owners.
🌍 National & Local Celebrations: Communities across the U.S. host events to support and promote small businesses. Lorain County hosts the "I'm Here" Campaign which encourages consumers to shop local and support independent businesses.
