ILOCOS EMPANADAS POP-UP

The fine folks of Buboy MTL have teamed up with The Rude Pinoy (Chef Norm Alconcel) for a pop-up weekend of Ilocos Empanadas.

Fresh off a 3 month stint in Ilocos Sur, Chef Norm obsesively scoured the multiple regions for the perfect Ilocos Empanada. From Northern Batac down to Vigan city in Southern Ilocos, Chef Norm tried a variety of recipes and combined his favourite attributes of each empanada to create his own recipe.

Come to Buboy between May 8-10. We will be serving from 12pm until supplies last.

• Pork Ilocos Empanadas (Vigan Longanisa, eggs, cabbage, green papaya, fried garlic)
• Chicken Ilocos Empanadas (Chicken Longanisa, eggs, cabbage, green papaya, fried garlic)
• Veggie Ilocos Empanadas (eggs, cabbage, green papaya, mung beans, fried garlic)

*** Each empanada comes with your choice of Spicy Suka (sugar cane/coconut vinegar), regular Suka and Banana Ketchup.
