Welcome to the Illuminating the Lantern Workshop!

This December Totnes will once again be lit up when The Whole World Comes to Totnes at our annual Lantern Parade. To kickstart the programme of lantern making workshops local artistTony Gee is running a free workshop for all potential workshop facilitators.

This workshop will be about two things: the elements that a facilitator needs to create a special willow lantern workshop and construction techniques to make accessible and effective lantern creatures.

Tony has been a Totnes based artist for forty years and has run workshops all over the world. This is a free opportunity to gather together, learn new techniques and contribute to December's lantern festival.
