Illinois Brews at Bowes Creek 2025

Join us at Bowes Creek Country Club for a fun and worthwhile event benefiting the Elgin Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Bowes Creek Country Club will provide a beautiful backdrop for this fun-filled event, which will feature Illinois craft & home brew tasting, live music and raffles. The event will start at 4 pm and end at 8 pm. VIP ticket holders will be let in at 3 pm for appetizers and a head start on the beer tasting! VIP tickets are limited so get yours early.

Tickets purchased in advance are $75 for the VIP Sneak Peak, $55 for the Ample Ale Package and $25 for the Designated Driver. The day of the event, the cost for an Ample Ale Package will increase to $65 and the Designated Driver will increase to $30. Packages Include:

VIP Sneak Peek: Early event admission (3 pm), early beer tasting and appetizers, and a take home souvenir mug.

Ample Ale: Event admission (4 pm), Craft & home brew tasting, snacks and a take home souvenir mug.

Designated Driver: Event admission (4 pm) and snacks. No beer sampling will be permitted.

100% of the proceeds from ticket sales, donations and raffle ticket sales go directly to the Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund.

Our goal this year is to raise $40,000.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Purchase tickets online or at the door. VIP tickets must be purchased in advance online.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must be 21 years or older to attend the event. Please bring a valid ID to prove age.

What beers will be featured?

We are working with various breweries to get our beer list together. As they are verified we will post them on our website at http://illinoisbrewsatbowes.com.

Will there be food at this event?

We will include snacks and have Jimmy's Supper Club on hand for the purchase of food. VIP tickets, which allow entrance from 3 - 4 pm, includes appetizers from Jimmy's Supper Club

What are my parking options for this event?

The event is held at the Bowes Creek Country Club/Jimmy's Supper Club, which has a large parking area as you first pull in. Parking is free.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

You can bring your ticket and additional money for raffles. You cannot bring your own alcohol.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, if you cannot attend the event you can give the ticket to a friend. We just ask that you indicate on the ticket that you initiated this transfer.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you need to present the ticket at the registration table inside the clubhouse entrance. If you purchased the ticket online you can show us the ticket on your phone or bring a paper copy.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

If you purchased a group of tickets and are giving them to members of your group, just have them write their name on the ticket.

What cause am I supporting?

All proceeds go to the Elgin Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund which provides opportunities for Elgin youth to participate in recreational programs. All donations are given to the Elgin Parks and Recreation Foundation, which is a 501c3 organization, making your gift tax deductible.
