Join author, cheese educator, and sensory storyteller Anne-Marie Pietersma at Museum of the Moving Image for an intimate evening celebrating When Harry Met Sally…—on 35mm film, with wine, cheese, and pairings inspired by the romantic comedies we return to again and again.
The evening begins with a conversation with Anne-Marie about her book, I’ll Have What Cheese Having, and the unlikely connection between romantic comedies, food, memory, and taste. She’ll introduce the evening’s film—and the cheese pairing it inspired—before we settle into MoMI’s intimate 68-seat theater for a rare 35mm screening of When Harry Met Sally….
After the film, the story moves from screen to table.
Guests are invited to a two-hour wine and cheese reception featuring the When Harry Met Sally… pairing from I’ll Have What Cheese Having, alongside a selection of other pairings inspired by beloved romantic comedies from the book.
Come hungry for cheese, nostalgia, and the particular pleasure of experiencing a movie you love in an entirely new way.
