In a time where mental health challenges are increasingly prevalent, KCW Community Choir seeks to bridge the gap between mental wellbeing and community support through the power of collective singing. With no auditions required and an open and welcoming environment, this choir offers a safe space for people from all walks of life. This showcase marks the choir’s third performance since its inception in May 2023.“I’ll Be There” showcases the power of music to create social connectedness and serves as a beacon of hope for anyone facing life’s challenges. This showcase features uplifting, familiar tunes, such as "I’ll Be There," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," and "Stand by Me," followed by a community sing-together led by the choir’s director, Darlyn Goh. This session will give attendees a chance to join in the music-making, experiencing firsthand the benefits of choral singing for wellbeing.
