Join us for an intimate afternoon of floral artistry, intention, and connection in the heart of Malibu, at Surf Canyon, a hidden gem within the Malibu Country Mart.
Rooted in the Japanese art of Ikebana, IKIDER approaches floral design as more than simply arranging flowers. It is a practice of presence, an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and appreciate the beauty of impermanence.
Throughout this guided floral experience, guests will explore the relationship between flowers, movement, space, and design. Each guest will create a unique floral arrangement while embracing the creative freedom that comes with letting go of perfection.
Whether you're exploring floral design for the first time or simply seeking an intentional afternoon away from your everyday routine, this experience offers an opportunity to create freely, connect with others, and enjoy the simple luxury of being present.
Enjoy coffee and matcha provided by Calabasas Coffee House, with time to meet new friends and enjoy the oasis of surf canyon. Come solo or bring a friend. No prior floral design experience is necessary. All flowers, materials, and vessels are included, and guests will take home their own floral creations.
